CEOBS works to reduce the harm to people and the environment caused by armed conflicts and military activities.
We do this by documenting and raising awareness of damage, and using that knowledge to help inform how the international community responds to threats to communities and ecosystems. We also monitor and, wherever possible, contribute our expertise to new international policies that can help make sure that people and the environment are better protected.
This is important but specialised work, and as a small charity we are wholly dependent on grants and donations.
But although our work covers human rights and environmental protection, it does not fit easily within the specific criteria used by many charitable foundations. Therefore one off or recurring donations from the public are very important to us, and to our sustainability. If you like what we do, and would like to support us, please consider donating.
