Event taking stock of how mine action can contribute to environmental safeguarding and climate resilience.
This side event will set out a vision of the positive contribution mine action can make to environmental safeguarding and climate resilience. The event will provide practical examples of measures that can be taken at each stage of humanitarian demining operations.
Further examples will describe how land can be used sustainability following mine action clearance. The side event is aimed at national authorities, implementing partners, and donors.
